Chiran, a region in Kagoshima Prefecture on Kyushu Island is renowned throughout Japan for its high quality tea. This black tea is blended from the first flush leaves from three types of Japanese tea trees (Yabukita, Kanaya-Midori, and Fuji-Midori). Unlike most black teas, these leaves will yield two infusions.
