A premium Sencha with an extra kick of Matcha. Stronger and not as sweet as the Kubuse. Price per 1/4 pound

The literal translation is round (green) tea. The leaves retain their round shape because they have not been rolled into a needle-like shape as is done in the seiju step when making Sencha. First produced for export over 80 years ago, this tea is now almost entirely consumed domestically. The best value of our Japan Green offerings and the most intense. Price per 4oz.

Typically the leaves for this tea are picked on the 4th day after the first flush harvest has begun. It has the perfect balance of sweetness and briskness. This very fresh, very beautiful green tea is from the Kawane region of Shizuoka prefecture. Price per 4oz.

This hand picked tea, grown on the mountain alongside Tenryu River which runs through the northwestern part of Shizuoka prefecture, is lightly steamed and has a brisk, pleasing, toasty flavor. Price per 4oz.

From Kagoshima, this delightful mix of toasted brown rice and premium green tea has a wonderful aroma and slightly nutty flavor. Price per 4oz.
